This kit was inspired by a tropical fish I saw in the Melbourne Aquarium almost five years ago. A photo I took of this beautiful little fish was inspiration I kept coming back to, experimenting with how to portray this detailed creature in my artwork. This tiny stripy fish, called a Banggai Cardinalfish, lives in the wild in only a small cluster of islands in Indonesia. Recently the species has been spotted further away, in Secret Bay, off the island of Bali. You can see this little fish hiding in the seaweed in one of the patterned cards.
These designs coordinate with my Secret Bay Collection.
